Montezuma, CO

Town Info

1) Respect our dogs.

In Montezuma, the dogs in our community tend to roam free, as nature intended. Please leave them be and they will do the same.

2) Air your tires elsewhere.

We understand that we are lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the best off-roading trails around. That being said, do not air your tires on town property. Please do so outside of town.

3) Keep your off road vehicles on a trailer until you hit the trail.

If it isn’t street legal, it doesn’t belong on our streets. Please keep all off road equipment on your trailer until you reach the trailhead. This includes ATVs, dirtbikes, Razors and all other off road vehicles.

4) Do not park on our streets.

There is absolutely no public parking within Town Limits or on County Roads. Please plan accordingly and park only in designated areas.

5) Keep it slow.

While driving through our town, please keep your speed down. This is a community, not a highway. The kids and dogs like to play so please keep your speed below 10mph.

6)Pack in, pack out.

We have access to some of the states most beautiful trails. Help us keep them that way by packing out whatever you bring in.
